Cirque du Soleil @ Bucharest Romexpo – in February 2012

Cirque du Soleil fans will be thrilled to read this: Saltimbanco, its oldest and one of its largest shows, is touring in Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Austria, Italy and will reach Romania in February 2012.

Without a horse or lion in sight, the Canadian circus based only on human acts will give the local audience a memorable experience portrayed by the organizers as a “celebration of life”.

Fifty artists from over 20 different countries will perform seven shows in Bucharest Romexpo from 8 to 12 February as follows:

  • Wednesday February 8, Thursday February 9 and Friday February 10 at 20:00
  • Saturday February 11 at 16:00 & 20:00
  • and Sunday February 12 at 12:00 and 16:00.

Tickets are on sale in the eventim.ro network and in Domo, Germanos, Orange and Vodafone stores as well as in Carturesti and Humanitas bookshops. They start from 28 (level 1 Tribune) and go up to 100 euro (front row).

Cirque du Soleil is a Quebec-based company recognized over the world for high quality artistic entertainment. According to their official website, close to 15 million people saw a Cirque du Soleil show in 2011.
